- Siddharth Dey was born into a Bengali family in Nagpur and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
- In 2004, he moved to Mumbai from Nagpur to become an actor. However, he could not be an actor but a writer.
- Siddharth Dey writes scripts for some of the popular script writers.
- He started his writing career by writing the script of an award show of Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan.
- In 2011, Siddharth Dey worked as a cinematographer in the Bengali movie “Bidehir Khonje Rabindranath”.
