Avinash Sachdev started his career at the age of 18, as an assistant director with the TV show ‘Hatim’ (2004).
He also assisted Farhan Akhtar in the film Rock On (2008).
He made his first television role as a cameo in StarPlus’ Karam Apna Apna (2006).
He acted in his first negative role in Sony TV’s drama series named “Khwahish” (2007), followed by a double negative role in StarPlus’ Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil (2008).
He rose to immense fame after he played his first lead role as Dev Purohit in the TV series ‘Chotti Bahu’ (2008), on Zee TV.
