- Chandan Shetty was born into a modest family in Shanthigrama, Hassan, Karnataka.
- He started his career as a call centre executive in Mysore. He worked in the call centre for around one year.
- Thereafter, he met the famous music director, Arjun Janya through Chiranjeevi Sarja and started working as an assistant music director under him.
- He made his debut as a lyricist and assistant music director in 2012 with the film “Alemari.”
- Subsequently, he worked for films like “Varadanayaka,” “Power,” “Chakravyuha,” and “Bhajarangi.”
- His debut song “Halagode” was a huge hit and established him as a singer.
- In 2017, he won the Season 5 of “Bigg Boss Kannada.” He took home the winner’s trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh.
- He made his acting debut in 2017 with the film “Vichitra Prema Kathe.”
