- In 2017, she sent a legal notice to Nawazuddin for revealing personal details about their marriage in his autobiography An Ordinary Life: A Memoir. She claimed that he did not take her consent before publishing the book and that he defamed her by writing about his affairs with other women. Nawazuddin later withdrew the book and apologized to her.
